Hydration Tracker

Log each glass, cup or bottle as you drink — watch your daily total climb and see how close you are to your goal.

4.8 (261) Free & private — runs in your browser

Entries are saved privately in your browser for today only. Nothing leaves your device.

Educational estimates only — not medical, engineering or professional advice.

Keeping an eye on how much water you actually drink each day can be more revealing than you expect. Many people find they drink far less than they intended — or far more. A simple running log removes the guesswork.

This tracker lets you set a personal daily goal in litres, then add each drink with one tap. Your total, your progress bar and each individual entry are saved privately in your browser so the page remembers you throughout the day.

    How to use this tool

Set your goal, then tap the drink buttons as you go:

    • Glass (250 ml) — a standard drinking glass.
    • Cup (200 ml) — a typical tea or coffee mug size.
    • Bottle (500 ml) — a half-litre bottle.

The progress bar fills as you close in on your goal. Each entry appears in the list below with a remove button if you made a mistake. Hit Reset day to start fresh each morning. Data is saved only in this browser — no account needed and nothing is sent anywhere.

    A little background

The tracker stores your entries keyed to today's date, so reopening the page later in the day picks up where you left off. The next day begins with a fresh slate while yesterday's data remains accessible if you want to review it.

The progress bar is purely illustrative — hitting exactly 100% is less important than building consistent awareness of your intake over time. Thirst, urine colour and how you feel are still the best everyday guides.

    Tool FAQ

No. Data is stored only in your browser's localStorage on the device you are using. It does not sync to other devices or to any server.

Clearing localStorage or browser data will erase the saved entries. There is no cloud backup — the tool is designed for local, private use only.

Not yet. The three buttons cover the most common serving sizes. You can tap multiple buttons to approximate larger drinks, such as pressing Bottle twice for a litre.

Caffeinated drinks still provide net hydration for most people in moderate amounts, though they are slightly less hydrating than plain water. Whether to count them is a personal choice; consistency matters more than precision.

Hydration is a daily need, and a fresh start each morning makes it easy to see today's progress at a glance without past days cluttering the view.
