Mark off each day of the week you hit your hydration goal, track your streak, and build a consistent habit — all privately in your browser.

This week — tap a day to mark your goal hit

Days are saved privately in your browser. Nothing leaves your device.

Educational estimates only — not medical, engineering or professional advice.

Streaks and visual progress are powerful motivators. Seeing a row of ticked days on a weekly grid makes it easier to stay consistent — and harder to break a run once you have started one.

This calendar shows the current week (Monday to Sunday). Tap any day to mark it as a goal-hit day; tap again to unmark. Your progress and streak are calculated instantly and saved locally. No account, no server, no data leaving your device.

How to use this tool

One action: tap a day button to toggle it between "goal hit" (green) and "not yet" (white). Today is highlighted with a blue border so you always know where you are in the week.

The result panel shows:

  • Days hit — out of 7 for this week, with a progress bar.
  • Current streak — consecutive days from today backwards where you hit your goal.

The week resets automatically on Monday — last week's data stays in storage but a new week's grid starts fresh. Use Reset week if you want to start the current week over. All data stays only in your browser.

A little background

The seven-day view is deliberately simple. Research on habit formation consistently finds that short, visible feedback loops outperform longer tracking periods for building new routines.

Pair this calendar with the Hydration Tracker for real-time counting, and the Water Journal for weekly reflection. For help setting a goal to aim for, the Daily Water Intake Calculator gives a personalised estimate.

Tool FAQ

The current week's grid is always shown. When Monday arrives, a new blank week begins automatically. Previous weeks' data is retained in storage but not displayed in the grid.

The streak counts consecutive marked days running backwards from today. If today is Wednesday and Monday and Tuesday are also marked, the streak is three. Unmarked days break the streak.

Yes — the tool does not prevent it, though marking future days before you have hit your goal would undermine the habit-tracking purpose. All seven day buttons are always tappable.

Yes. The calendar state is saved in your browser's localStorage and persists when you close and reopen the page, as long as you do not clear browser data.

That is entirely up to you. You set your own standard — whether that is a specific litre target, a number of glasses, or simply feeling well-hydrated. The calendar records your self-assessment.
